The actress who plays Princess Anna in the stage version of Disney's 'Frozen' has fallen ill with potential covid-19 as she feels 'achy with a fever and a cough.'

AceShowbiz - Broadway actress and expectant mum Patti Murin is grappling with intense coronavirus symptoms.

The star of the stage version of "Frozen" took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 9, 2020 and revealed she believes she has contracted the potentially deadly disease.

Murin, who is set to welcome a baby girl with husband Colin Donnell, detailed her poor physical state, noting doctors are certain she's battling Covid-19.

"I started feeling very tired and achy with a fever and a cough that makes it feel like my head is splitting open from the inside out," she wrote, "and after talking to my incredible OBGYN (obstetrician, gynecologist) my GP (general practitioner), and a very kind doctor at Mt. Sinai over video conference, they are pretty certain it's COVID-19."

"I can't get tested unless I start having trouble breathing, so I'm going to count my lucky stars that I seem to be leaning towards the mild end of the scale."

And while the actress and singer would like to know for certain if she has contracted the coronavirus, she is not willing to take the risk of venturing to a crowded medical facility.

"I AM FINE, I SWEAR, AND SO IS THE BABY!" she assured fans. "This virus can't cross the placenta, so my uterus is literally the safest place for little peanut right now. I'm eating and drinking all the water in the world, and she's kicking me almost hourly now, so I know she's growing stronger by the day."
