The Goop founder has her 14-year-old son Moses' friends stage a birthday parade to celebrate the kid's special day in Los Angeles during the coronavirus lockdown.

AceShowbiz - Gwyneth Paltrow helped to put a smile on her son Moses' face as he turned 14 on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 by arranging for his friends to stage a birthday parade.

The "Iron Man" star, who shares Moses with ex-husband Chris Martin, was unable to throw a party to celebrate her kid's special day due to Los Angeles' coronavirus lockdown, so she found the next best thing.

Sharing video footage of the birthday boy's friends pulling up to the property's large driveway with big signs, balloons, and blaring music on her Instagram Story timeline, Paltrow wrote, "Socially distanced birthday parade for Moses!"

One even dropped off some candy for Moses, which he ran to collect as the thoughtful friend remained in their car.

"Oh my God! Go grab it!" Paltrow told him in one clip.

As the parade came to an end, the actress shouted to the pals, "You guys are the best!"

Earlier in the day, Paltrow had marked her son's birthday in a sweet post online, accompanied by rare photos of Moses' face.

"This kid is the best and he is 14 today. Unbelievable," she began. "He is the kindest little man and he has the most unique way of looking at the world and expressing himself."

"Mosey, I could not be more proud of you in every way. You conquer all you set out to do, you never quit, you are immensely talented and a great friend. I hope you never stop hugging me goodbye when you go into the next room. I love you."

Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Martin divorced in 2016. They are also parents to daughter Apple, who turns 16 in May 2020.
