'RHOA' Alum Sheree Whitfield Asks for Prayer After Announcing That Her Mom Is Missing

'I ask that everyone pray for my mother's safe return home. And know that our family will be internally grateful,' so the TV star writes on Instagram about her mom, Thelma Ferguson.

AceShowbiz - Former cast member of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Sheree Whitfield took to her social media account to ask prayer for her missing mom. The TV star broke the devastating news on Instagram, posting a photo of her mother, Thelma Ferguson, who was last seen on March 23.

"Please keep my mom and my family in your prayers!" Sheree began her lengthy post on Wednesday, April 8. "We all know that prayers can move mountains!!! I was hesitant to post my concerns for my mother's safe return because, although I have been in close contact with the police for the past two weeks, I'm also pretty private when it comes to my family."

Sheree went on explaining, "Also, in the past, my mom has taken personal vacations without letting the family know and we respect that side of her. However, this is the longest she have gone without reaching out to anyone from the family or her friends." She added, "Right now we are leaning on God and staying positive and prayerful for her safe return home."

"I ask that everyone pray for my mother's safe return home. And know that our family will be internally grateful," she concluded, before asking people to contact Sandy Springs police or email the detective handling the missing persons case if they had information regarding her mom.

Fellow "RHOA" alum Kim Zolciak jumped into the comment section, leaving a few of praying emojis. Rapper and "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Lil Scrappy also sent prayer in his comment, while Kandi Burruss wrote, "Oh no!! I'm praying for her safe return!"

Omarosa also chimed in, "I'm praying in the name of Jesus sis!" Actress Shamea Morton added, "I'm sorry to hear this sis. Praying for her safe return."
