Prior to her return to Nashville, the 'Very Cavallari' star has been met with criticism for going forward with her tropical getaway plan during the coronavirus pandemic.

AceShowbiz - Kristin Cavallari is finally back home from her family's tropical getaway. Three weeks after she and her family found themselves stuck in the Bahamas as the coronavirus outbreak grew into a global pandemic, the "Very Cavallari" star was able to take a short window out of the island and return to Nashville, Tennessee.

On Tuesday, April 7, the 33-year-old TV personality shared the happy news through a post on her Instagram Story handle. "We had a short window to get out of the Bahamas so we jumped all over it," she wrote over a video of her showing off her healthy stuff upon her return.

In the short clip, the former "Laguna Beach" star could be heard saying in the background, "We made it home." She additionally stated that she is "very happy about" being back home once again. In another post, she posted a clip of a brewing coffee machine with a note that read, "How I've missed you."

The TV personality initially spent 3 weeks vacationing in the Bahamas with her family.

Kristin initially went to vacation in the Bahamas with husband Jay Cutler and three children, 7-year-old Camden Jack, 5-year-old Jaxon Wyatt and 4-year-old Saylor James. Her best friend Justin Anderson and his fiance Austin "Scoot" Rhodes also joined the family affair. They remained in the tropical island even when the U.S. declared a national emergency and the Bahamas reported its first five cases.

Another pointed out, "You seem completely out of touch with what's going on in the world right now," while a third chose a kinder approach by commenting, "Hi, I really like your shows and have watched you since Laguna Beach, but all the holiday posting during this difficult time is inappropriate, as a lot of people are worried to leave their home x. "

While Kristin never really addressed her prolonged vacation prior to her return back home, her friend Justin called their situation "nuts." In a late March post on Instagram, he shared, "i meannnn let's get real for a second- spending FOURTEEN days not spending time with anyone else is nuts, but we've done it. AND i still love each of them. that's pretty solid. the family that quarantines together, stays together… stay tuned ya filthy animals!"
