It is reported that she made an 'off-the-cuff comment' to one of her friends about the party at an after-party in Los Angeles in 2019, prompting the rapper, who overheard it, to be mad.

AceShowbiz - Fetty Wap is facing a legal trouble. The rapper has reportedly been sued by a woman who claims to be assaulted by the rapper at a party in June 2019.

According to the lawsuit, the New Jersey rapper "not only strangled her but also punched her in the face" while they were both at an after-party in Los Angeles. The woman revealed in court documents that she attended the get-together with friends before intoxicated Fetty approached her.

"During the course of the night, Fetty Wap consumed numerous alcoholic beverages culminating with (Fetty) drinking tequila directly from the bottle. Without any justification or provocation, (Fetty) began getting aggressive and physical toward numerous people, including the (her)," the woman claimed.

The Blast reported that she made an "off-the-cuff comment" to one of her friends about the party, prompting Fetty, who overheard it, to be mad. The artist then walked up to her before "aggressively" coming face-to-face with her to threaten her. "He then pressed his finger on her forehead and forcefully pushed her head back," according to the site.

it was later said that Fetty grabbed the woman by the throat, strangled her and pushed her against a window. He also allegedly yelled, "I'll kill you." Someone later separated them, but the rapper continued to attempt to attack her and at one point, he punched her face.

Following the assault, the woman filed a report to the police and the case was handed over to the District Attorney. In the lawsuit, she claimed to be suffering from extreme emotional distress and "humiliation."

Prior to this, a short clip of the incident made its way out online. The video featured Fetty knocking a phone out of someone's hand. At the time, it's said that the Los Angeles D.A.'s office did look into this incident. However, they refused to press charges against the rapper due to lack of evidence.
