Sara MacDoland says her husband Noel is in a 'lonely, unpleasant place' due to the family feud and she's concerned it would affect their 12-year-old son.

AceShowbiz - Noel Gallagher is in a "lonely, unpleasant place" amid his ongoing feud with brother Liam, his wife Sara MacDonald claimed.

Noel walked away from his band Oasis and ended relations with his little brother in 2009, and the siblings have been feuding in the press and on social media ever since.

Speaking to Vogue magazine, Sara said the conflict is taking its toll on her husband, calling the feud a case of family history repeating itself.

"I think Noel was singled out and bullied by his father," she said. "It's happening again. It's a lonely, unpleasant place for Noel to be."

As a result of the siblings' disagreements, Noel and Sara's 12-year-old son Donovan has never met his uncle, which she said has become an issue since he started high school.

"Donovan's new school friends can't understand why he's never met his uncle and he has started Googling things," she explained. "I've said "You have to stop. You are going to read horrible things about us."

"I don't want my boys to think that's a normal relationship between brothers," she added.

In recent years, Liam has become increasingly vocal about wanting an Oasis reunion, insisting the band will reunite with or without Noel. However, Noel, 52, told the magazine he occasionally comes close to agreeing, but "realised I would only be doing it to shut this f**king idiot up."

"The only other thing I could come up with was burning his house down or smashing his car in... but that's not going to solve anything is it?" he added.
