The Black Sabbath rocker is still determined to meet an expert in Switzerland to treat his illness after his initial plan was derailed due to the world crisis amid coronavirus pandemic.

AceShowbiz - Ozzy Osbourne is still committed to radical treatment to help him battle Parkinson's disease after a trip to meet with an expert was cancelled due the coronavirus pandemic.

The rock legend, 70, called off plans for a 2020 tour last month, March 2020 to seek out help from a top doctor in Switzerland, telling fans he was planning to make the trip to Europe in April.

But Ozzy and his wife/manager Sharon had to rethink their plans as the COVID-19 crisis limited international travel and shut down borders across the world.

Earlier this week, it was revealed Ozzy had cancelled the trip, but Sharon Osbourne insists they are still planning to make it to Switzerland.

"We waited for months to get in to see this professor, but it is what it is," she told Britain's "Today" show. "Everybody's life is turned upside down. So, we'll get there... We'll get there, just later."

Meanwhile, last week Ozzy's daughter Kelly Osbourne told Entertainment Tonight that her dad was making great progress following stem-cell treatment in Panama. "Seeing, after one treatment of stem cell, what has happened and the progress that he's made is mind-blowing," she said.

"He wants to get up. He wants to do things. He wants to be a part of the world again. He's walking better. He's talking better. His symptoms are lessening. He is building the muscle strength back that he needs after his spine surgery."

Ozzy spent much of last year 2019 recovering from a bad fall at his home in Los Angeles, which dislodged metal rods placed in his spine following an all-terrain vehicle accident.
