The 'Gummo' hitmaker, who wears an all-white outfit during the Instagram Live session, brags about his newfound freedom as he takes a ride with two friends.

AceShowbiz - Tekashi69 a.k.a. 6ix9ine has made his first social media activity after his early release from jail due to the coronavirus outbreak. The rapper went on Instagram Live on Friday, April 3 to offer his fans a glimpse of his new life out of prison.

In the video, the "FEFE" hitmaker wore an all-white outfit as he took a ride with two friends, a male and a female pal. He flashed his asthma inhaler and bragged about his newfound freedom. At one point, he looked out of the window to enjoy the air. He later expressed his excitement as he screamed several times.

6ix9ine was released on Thursday, April 2 after his lawyer Lance Lazzaro filed a request to Judge Paul Engelmayer for his client's early release from jail out of fears of contracting the coronavirus in cell. Lance reasoned that the rapper's preexisting health issues could put him at high risk if he catches the disease. The lawyer noted the "FEFE" hitmaker has asthma, which has hospitalized him several times in the past. He also stated that 6ix9ine had bronchitis and sinusitis last October.

The judge initially denied the request, citing his lack of authority. The Manhattan federal court judge eventually relented and on Wednesday, April 1, explained his intention to let 6ix9ine head home, pending any objections from prosecutors, of which there were none.

His lawyer later gave an update on his client's situation while in home confinement, saying that the 23-year-old star is "very happy to be out of jail." The New York criminal attorney additionally told HollywoodLife.com that the "Gummo" hitmaker is already "looking forward to his future and having a second start."

Lance also revealed that 6ix9ine is not getting any help from the feds regarding his security after he snitched on his former crew the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. The attorney said the New York-born artist "has his own security team that he is paying for" as precautions.
