The 'Wipe Me Down' rapper's fans and followers are mostly supportive of his political desire, with one person responding, 'Yessir we alllllll in im on my way to registration Asap.'

AceShowbiz - After getting his own reality show, Boosie Badazz (previously known as Lil Boosie) is likely getting into politics next. The rapper-turned-reality TV star just announced on his Instagram page that he's running for president in 2024.

Apparently having already plotted his campaign, the 37-year-old shared a photoshopped picture of himself wearing a suit with a sign in front of him that reads, "Boosie For President 2024." In the caption, he wrote, "ITS OFFICIAL IM RUNNING 2024 no 🧢 just talk to my people ‼"

Boosie does meet some of the qualifications to run for president. He's older than 35 years old, the minimum age to run, was born in America and has lived here for over 14 years. He, however, has a criminal record and it's unclear if it would prevent him from pursuing his White House dream.

Boosie's fans and followers quickly reacted to his post and they're surprisingly mostly supportive of his plans. "Yessir we alllllll in im on my way to registration Asap," one eager voter wrote. Another similarly exclaimed, "Shidd He got my vote already."

"I'd vote twice for him," another declared. "Got my vote! Make America Lit," read another comment. Someone else added, "Yezzir !! Clean this country up boosie boo lol."

Some others already imagined what would happen if Boosie gets elected as a president. "MAAANN WE FINNA BE IN THE WHITE HOUSE SHOOTN DICE AND BBQ'N," one quipped. Another joked, "Mayne I see student loans forgiven, the max in foodstamps, legalized marijuana, etc."

While it's unclear if Boosie is joking or not with his presidential run announcement, he may want to set a better example in the future should he means it with his Instagram post. The Baton Rouge rapper, whose reality series "Badazz Boosie" will premiere in spring of this year, recently almost landed in trouble for having a woman naked during his Instagram Live.

"Instagram told me they were gonna take my Instagram if they see any more nudity," he explained during another Instagram Live broadcast on Wednesday, March 25. "So, I just DMed and hit 'em back in the email and asked 'em if y'all could just dance and shake that a**. You know what I'm sayin'? I'm waiting on that response. So that's what we waitin' on for QTP."
