Because of her twerking, it was believed that the 'Hot Girl Summer' hitmaker and Meek Mill were throwing shades on social media after the latter appeared to allude that he's tired of women twerking.

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion is defending her love of twerking. The "Hot Girl Summer" hitmaker recently addressed the criticism that she had been received because some people think she twerks too much.

"I don't know when it happened, that sometimes people get offended by twerking," Megan shared in an interview with Genius. She went on saying in the Wednesday, March 25 clip, "But that s**t is crazy. Like, I love to throw my a**. I love to shake my a**. That's one of my favorite things to do."

"And I be seeing motherf***ers be like, 'All you do is shake yo' a**.' I be like, 'Damn. Actually, I got to school and I rap and sometime I be cookin',' " she defended herself. "I'm a dog mom. I'm an awesome friend. It's not all I be doing, it's just that maybe when you loggin' in, you came to see me twerk, 'cause you ain't see that freestyle I just dropped? I can rap and twerk."

Upon watching the video, some people were actually surprised that some hated Megan's twerking. "Ppl offended by her twerking? I never seen any complaint," one questioned. Another person sent the raptress nothing but love. "They just can't twerk like Megan is all, love her," the user commented.

Someone else, meanwhile, took a jab at Megan for her work, writing, "People are offended that you sound the same on every song you put out." One user dubbed her twerking a "clout" that didn't really boost her album sales. "Imagine having all that clout and sell 41k," the user mocked.

Because of her twerking, it was believed that Megan and Meek Mill were throwing shades on social media. The "Championship" rapper wrote, "Twerking is like a guy with big stacks of money hanging out his pocket so everybody can see lol I tired of seeing all that sh*t lol. Y'all burnt twerking out."

Seemingly firing back at Meek, Megan later tweeted, "I hate a 'pick me' a** n***a sick of these fake woke a** men." She explained in another post, "I'm using 'Pick me' as when you just saying s**t that you believe will get you a pat on the back/ acceptance from other people."
