When the 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker says, 'DUB PLATE COME PRETTY LIKE A FENTY FOUNDATION,' the 'Love the Way You Lie' songstress replies, 'Give Drake some water.'

AceShowbiz - Despite previously saying that she and Drake are no longer friends, Rihanna is apparently back interacting with the Canadian rapper. Furthermore, fans could see how their conversation was going as the two stars exchanged comments during DJ Spade's Instagram Live session on Tuesday, March 24.

As DJ Spade continued entertaining the viewers with his music, Drake teased Rihanna at some point by leaving a comment that read, "Robyn (Rihanna's real name) you can't buy him A one hot spot." He then continued in all caps, "DUB PLATE COME PRETTY LIKE A FENTY FOUNDATION," to which Rihanna replied, "Give Drake some water." In response, the "God's Plan" hitmaker said, "Hahahahahaha yo u have a bad attitude."

Rihanna didn't reply back, but that didn't stop Drake from mentioning her. Poking fun at the fact that the "Diamonds" singer has yet to release her highly-anticipated album, the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker said, "Rihanna drop R12 right now."

Drake and Rihanna were rumored to be dating on and off for years, though she constantly denied the rumors and insisted that they were just friends. In an interview with Variety back in 2018, the "Umbrella" singer revealed that they were no longer friends. "We don't have a friendship now, but we're not enemies either. It is what it is," she said at the time.

During the interview, Rihanna also addressed his speech at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, where he presented her with Video Vanguard Award and professed his love for her. Of the speech, she said, "The VMAs is such a fan-focused awards show, so having that energy around me, and knowing the people who had received the award in the past, made it feel like a big deal. Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don't like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast."
