The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star announces she will donate 20% of her SKIMS profit to a charity, but some people think that she's not doing enough.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian's good intention amid the coronavirus pandemic has been met with negativity. After announcing she would be donating 20% of her SKIMS profit to help those affected by the global crisis, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star found herself criticized for being deemed not doing enough.

The 39-year-old made public her pledge to donate via Instagram on Monday, March 23. "As a mother, helping families in need during this time is especially important to me," she shared in the post. "@baby2baby is on the ground providing essentials to children and families impacted by COVID-19 and are working around the clock to get them diapers, blankets, hygiene products, school supplies and more."

"Today @skims will be restocking our most-loved Cotton collection and donating 20% of the drops profits to @Baby2baby's COVID-19 Emergency Response Program to support their mission to provide basic essentials to children and families in need," the wife of Kanye West went on to announce. She ended the post with an invitation to "shop now at SKIMS.COM and enjoy free shipping on domestic orders over $75."

Kim's invitation to buy her products angered many. One, in particular, compared her to Rihanna by writing, "Rhianna gave 5 million dollars and didn't ask anyone to buy anything from her." Another one berated her, "The millions of people who you say are being affected are just a source of profit to you. You're so out of touch with reality that all you think about is how everything will benefit you."

A third one offered a suggestion to Kim by commenting, "How about instead of asking us to buy your brand so you can donate money you donate the money you already have so people who are sitting at home without pay don't have buy things in order for other people to benefit from it ... use your platform for them not to bolster the money you already have and will never go without."

This backlash came just days after Kim and Kanye were blasted online following a full version leak of his infamous call with Taylor Swift. "KANYE AND KIM REALLY GOT EXPOSED IN THE YEAR OF THE RAT OMG 2020 IS JUST THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING," one particular person pointed out as hashtag "Kanye West Is Over" was trending on Twitter.
