The 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' voice actor tells his online devotees, especially parents, to send him an e-mail with their children's names so that he can send them special messages.

AceShowbiz - Jake Johnson will reprise his role as Spider-Man to send cheery messages to kids on coronavirus lockdown.

The actor voiced the superhero character in 2018's animated film "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse", and special requests from fans impacted by the pandemic has inspired him to revisit the role.

"Since the quarantine a lot of parents have DM’d me saying they’ve been watching Spiderverse with their kids. A lot," he wrote on Friday (20Mar20) in an Instagram caption attached to a picture of his animated Peter Parker character.

"So, here's my idea. If your child is home from school and wants a quick encouraging message from Peter B Peter (sic), then send me an email with their name and I'll try and send over a short voice note. If I don’t get to you, I apologize."

The star invited fans to send an email to [email protected] to request a personal message.
