Bosses at the famed museum are said to be considering the possibility after Jade Thirlwall joked on Clara Amfo's 'This City' podcast about melting Olly Murs' statue to make way for them.

AceShowbiz - Little Mix will be immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds attraction after Jade Thirlwall complained about their absence from the London attraction.

The "Shout Out to My Ex" hitmaker made the observation on radio and TV presenter Clara Amfo's "This City" podcast earlier this week (end March 22), joking that Tussauds chiefs should "melt down" fellow pop star Olly Murs' statue to make way.

According to British newspaper The Sun, bosses at the museum are now considering creating waxworks in Jade and bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock's likeness.

"Madame Tussauds is always monitoring what celebrities are popular and which ones aren't. It has championed girl power in the past couple of years with new statues of Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande," a source said.

"Little Mix seem a natural fit in London. The team are looking at how they can make it happen and whether there is space inside the exhibits for four new statues, which is quite an undertaking. It's a case of working out who can be moved out to make room for more relevant stars like Little Mix."

A spokesman for Madame Tussauds added, "We always keep a keen eye on what's happening in the world of celebrity - watch this space."

Speaking to Clara, Jade moaned that as Britain's biggest girl band of the 2010s, they should be featured.

"I think we deserve one. Budgeting permitting, get those four waxworks out there because, come on, we've earned our place," she fumed. "You can melt down Olly Murs and make it into us."

New statues can reportedly take as long as four months to craft, however.
