Weeks after memes from the 2004 Edgar Wright movie were shared online by fans as the world fights the pandemic, the two stars team up to offer a revised version of their famed Winchester scene.

AceShowbiz - The stars of zombie comedy "Shaun of the Dead" have teamed up for a new public service announcement inspired by their film.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost re-created a key scene from the 2004 Edgar Wright movie, in which their characters opt to wait out the end of the world in their local pub, but in the revised version, they urge fans to stay at home and enjoy a cup of tea instead - and consult the National Health Service if they experience flu-like symptoms.

"We're all in this together. Don't be selfish," says Pegg in the video PSA. "Look after each other. If you're lonely, give someone a call."

Memes from "Shaun of the Dead" have been shared by fans on social media over the last few weeks as the deadly COVID-19 virus grips the globe, prompting government officials to shut down borders and urge people to self-isolate at home.
