'He still loves his family and that won't change and hasn't changed,' a source says of Prince Harry, who announced in January his decision to step down as senior royal family members alongside Meghan.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may now be living in Canada after their British royal exit. However, that doesn't mean that Meghan will never allow Harry to communicate with his family. If anything, she wants her husband "to remain close to his family."

"There's no question about that," a source reveals to HollywoodLife.com. "It's been a tough time but at the end of the day he still loves his family and that won't change and hasn't changed. He has always been close to his grandmother and he very much wants her to have time with Archie, he loves seeing them together."

The informant goes on saying, "It was sad they couldn't bring Archie over on their trip but it was the sensible choice and everyone understood. They do want to go back as soon as they can to remedy that though. They would love to take Archie back in the summer and spend time with her at Balmoral. Right now they can't make any real plans though, things are too uncertain. But when they can safely take Archie back for a visit they will."

Despite Archie's absence, Meghan gave people an update on her baby boy while attending the Endeavour Fund Awards in London on March 5. During a chat with a fellow guest, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that her and Harry's 10-month-old baby "is into everything."

The charity event marked the couple's first joint appearance since announcing the decision to step back from royal duties back in January. In his speech, Harry thanked the guests for their support, saying, "Meghan and I are so happy to be back here with you. A lot of you tonight have told me you have my back, well I'm also here to tell you, I've always got yours."
