Though self-isolating themselves in a four-bedroom property Down Under amid the coronavirus pandemic, Lisa and Jess Origliasso claim they continue to see and care for their mother daily.

AceShowbiz - The Veronicas are "practising social distancing" amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and are taking the opportunity to grow their own food.

The "Untouched" hitmakers reveal in a statement to Daily Mail Australia that they're self-isolating in their four-bedroom property Down Under amid the global health crisis and said they made the decision to "protect the most vulnerable people in our family and communities."

The sisters, Lisa Origliasso and Jessica Origliasso, share that they are continuing to see their mother Colleen, 72, who is fighting progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare degenerative brain disorder, but insist they are keeping her out of harm's way.

"In particular for the safety and health of our mummy, who we continue to see and care for daily," they add.

During the quarantine, the "4ever" stars are taking the opportunity to do some gardening, sharing clips which show Lisa's husband Logan Huffman planting seedlings on their estate.

"Day two of self quarantine. Putting in a makeshift veggie garden," she captions one post, as the 30-year-old actor explains his tomato-planting tips to fans.

He also reveals they are planting 50 potato plants, and expecting a large yield, perhaps to prepare for a longer quarantine period.
