Kurt Kloss has reportedly been asking for advice on how to step up anti-coronavirus measures from his fellow medics on behalf of Donald Trump's son-in-law and top adviser.

AceShowbiz - Supermodel Karlie Kloss's doctor dad has reportedly been helping U.S. President Donald Trump's son-in-law and top adviser Jared Kushner formulate a response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Karlie is married to Jared's brother Joshua, and with President Trump under fire over his government's efforts to halt the COVID-19 coronavirus in its tracks, her father, Kurt Kloss, has been canvassing his fellow medics for advice in a Facebook group, according to The Spectator.

Screenshots of Kurt's messages in a private Facebook group obtained by the British magazine allegedly show him asking for advice on how to step up America's anti-coronavirus measures on behalf of Jared, who is married to Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump.

"If you were in charge of Federal response to the Pandemic what would your recommendation be," one screenshot, featuring a picture of him with his wife, Tracy, reads. "Please only serious responses."

"I have direct channel to person now in charge at White House and have been asked for recommendations. I have already expressed concern for need for ventilators and more PPE (personal protective equipment) for frontline and test kits."

In the leaked messages, Kurt then went on to clarify that he is Karlie's dad, and that on Wednesday (March 11), he was "asked by Jared through my son in-law for my recommendations."

He later summarised 11 points from the discussion, including stepping up the production of testing kits, "draconian" travel restrictions, and locking down nursing homes, and later informed the group, "Jared is reading now."

Speaking to Vogue, Karlie admitted being related to Jared and the Trumps is "hard," describing herself and her husband's views as "liberal."
