The 'Never Worn White' singer cuts short her press tour in the country after being put on a 24-hour lockdown in Sydney's Park Hyatt Hotel, where Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson also stayed before they tested positive for the illness.

AceShowbiz - Katy Perry has cut short her Australian trip because of coronavirus fears. On Thursday, March 12, the pregnant "Never Worn White" songstress was spotted heading to Sydney Airport after canceling press tour as preventive measure in protecting herself and her unborn child against the COVID-19.

In several photos, the 35-year-old singer could be seen stepping out from a car in a grey hoodie. Donning a pair of yoga pants and white sneakers, she rocked sunglasses and wore a headphone on her head. Carrying a pillow as she walked through the airport, she was seen, at some point, covering her mouth with it.

Before leaving Australia, the "Roar" hitmaker was reportedly being put on a 24-hour lockdown in Sydney's Park Hyatt Hotel. It was said to be the exact same hotel actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson stayed at before they were tested positive with coronavirus.

One day prior to her departure, the "Teenage Dream" singer performed at the Fight On bushfire recovery concert in Bright, Victoria. She even uploaded a number of photos on Instagram from the event. "On a brighter note... a show of gratitude for some bushfire heroes and 7000 of my newest friends in Bright, VIC. Thanks to all who came out and created a new happy memory," she noted in the caption.

Perry's fiance Orlando Bloom was also making his way back home from Prague. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor was in the Czech Republic's capital to film the second season of his Amazon show "Carnival Row", but the coronavirus pandemic has shut down its production.

"It's farewell from us, as we go home to be quarantined," the 43-year-old actor shared in a video he posted on Instagram Story on Thursday, March 12. "We're coming home to the States, at least I'm coming home to the States because we want to get in before the quarantine."

"Big love everybody, stay safe out there," the ex-husband of Miranda Kerr continued. "Self quarantine. It seems really crazy actually this whole corona thing but do the right thing by you and your family and stay safe."
