The 'Luke Cage' alum and her Senator beau are supporting different Democratic presidential candidates after he dropped out of the race, with the actress backing Bernie Sanders and her boyfriend endorsing Joe Biden.

AceShowbiz - Rosario Dawson and Cory Booker are not always on the same page in politics. The actress and her boyfriend apparently cannot come to an agreement about who should nab the Democratic nomination for the 2020 presidential election as they are supporting different candidates.

Rosario announced on Monday via her Instagram page that she voted for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary. "I got to vote for Bernie again and I did. Whoever it is that you're supporting I hope that you are doing it consciously, with heart and with a ballot," the "Rent" star wrote.

Urging people to vote, she continued, "Please stay in the game, no matter what, and continue the fight our ancestors fought with fewer means and resources, not just so that we could bicker on social media, but so that we could continue to improve conditions for each other and make the path that much better, healthier and clearer for the generations to come."

Meanwhile, her boyfriend, who was a Democratic presidential candidate himself until he dropped out of the race in January, is supporting Bernie's rival, former Vice President Joe Biden. "The answer to hatred & division is to reignite our spirit of common purpose. @joebiden won't only win - he'll show there's more that unites us than divides us. He'll restore honor to the Oval Office and tackle our most pressing challenges. That's why I'm proud to endorse Joe," he declared on Monday, along with a photo of him holding hands with the 77-year-old politician.

Rosario, who confirmed she's in a relationship with Cory in March 2019, previously supported her boyfriend in his presidential race. "Cory, you continue to inspire me everyday. On this journey you and your remarkable team have represented the best in us and I know you will continue to. Thank you. I see you. I love you," she tweeted in January, after he announced that he ended his run at the Democratic nomination for president.
