The 'To Nashville, With Love' benefit concert also sees performances by Brandi Carlile, Ashley McBryde, Yola, Old Crow Medicine Show, Margo Price and The Black Keys rocker Dan Auerbach.

AceShowbiz - Sheryl Crow, the Brothers Osborne and Jason Isbell are among the country stars who banded together in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday (March 09) to raise $500,000 (£387,500) for tornado relief efforts.

Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, The Black Keys rocker Dan Auerbach, Yola, Old Crow Medicine Show and Margo Price also hit the stage for the To Nashville, With Love benefit gig, which featured a special performance with all of the artists joining forces for a cover of Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World".

Country newcomer Yola included a rendition of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell classic "You're All I Need to Get By" in her set, explaining the song's lyrics really spoke to her in the wake of the deadly natural disaster, which ripped through Nashville and the surrounding areas on 3 March.

She told local paper The Tennessean, "I thought that it was a really wonderful sentiment that needed to be said. You're what I need. It's the community that we need. It's the people that we need. It's our relationships."

The special sold out event, held at Marathon Music Works, raised an estimated $500,000, which will be donated to officials at the To Nashville, With Love Fund to aid disaster relief efforts and mental health organisations offering support after the tragedy.
