The 'Begin Again' actress reveals in a new interview that she's satisfied with how her 4-year-old daughter views the ending of the Disney animated version of the story.

AceShowbiz - Keira Knightley was pleased with her daughter's reaction to "Sleeping Beauty" after the four year old pointed out the issue of consent in the fairytale.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star reveals she recently watched the Disney animated version of the story with her oldest child, Edie, who had a rather mature reaction to the conclusion, in which a prince wakes the title character with a kiss.

"When we watched 'Sleeping Beauty', she said, 'It's not OK that man kissed her without her permission!' " Knightley tells PORTER magazine. "I can't tell you how pleased I was."

The 34-year-old, who welcomed daughter Delilah with husband James Righton last year (19), was so thrilled by her response, noting she instilled that view in her kid.

She adds, "If I don't do anything else, I've managed to drum that in!"

The actress also wants to pass on a message of equality to her girls when it comes to domestic life, sharing her husband and father have never been bothered by earning less than their spouses.

"Our society is telling us that's what it should be," the star says. "A lot of the time, my mum was earning more than my dad and that was never an issue. I mean, sometimes he earned more, sometimes she earned more. I was not raised to think that was anything other than normal."
