The 'Saturday Night Live' cast member jokes that the 'Thank You, Next' hitmaker has made him famous saying, 'She sent the wolves on me. She made me, created me.'

AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson has taken a playful jab at his ex-fiancee Ariana Grande. While taking on the challenge of eating 10 hot wings in an episode of First We Feast's "Hot Ones", the cast member of "Saturday Night Live" jokingly blamed the "Thank You, Next" hitmaker for the growing attention the media paid to him.

In the interview with host Sean Evan, the 26-year-old was asked to weigh in on him being hounded by paparazzi. "It's really annoying 'cuz, like, I live in Staten Island and they come there now - 'cuz, like, Ariana Grande made me all famous and stuff," he responded. "So, she, like - it's all her fault. It is. She sent the wolves. Now...She made me - created me, whatever they say."

On a more serious note, Davidson admitted that dealing with the paparazzi "sucks". He explained, "It's embarrassing because, like, I have a family. My mom has to go to work, you know, and there's these f****ing weirdos outside. And it's embarrassing and it sucks."

"I like to smoke weed and be high in public, and it's very scary when someone's like [makes monster photographer noise]," the comedian, who was engaged to the "7 Rings" singer for four months, continued on. "You feel like you're in the future."

During the chat, Davidson also addressed his social media break and the positive effect he got from the break. "I don't really try to dress," he said. "I used to when I had the 'gram. 'Cuz you just scroll through…and you're like, 'Ooh, off-white shoes. I guess that's what the cool kids are wearing.' And then you realize, when you're not online, that's what broke kids think that's what rich people should wear and it's lame." He noted that it was a "really great feeling once you finally just give up."

Davidson's statement came after he took a jab at his failed romance with Grande during his Netflix stand-up special "Alive From New York". Mentioning his ex's statement that their relationship a "distraction," he quipped, "I wasn't going to do jokes about this, but then my buddy told me, he's like, 'Yo, I recently heard that Ariana said she had no idea who you were and she just dated you as a distraction.' So now I just think it's like fair game."
