An insider also spills on how the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actor never felt 'good enough' for his ex-wife Anna Faris and 'was very insecure' before dating the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

AceShowbiz - Chris Pratt's marriage to Katherine Schwarzenegger did not only bring joy to his life but also place him in a better mental state. Months after tying the knot with the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star was reported to be having "healthier self-image" than when he was with his ex-wife Anna Faris.

Speaking of the 40-year-old's transformation, a source told Us Weekly, "Katherine really changed all of that and Chris has a much healthier self-image now." The so-called insider added, "He goes out with friends more and is overall just much happier. Chris is much more laid-back with Katherine and is so comfortable and happy."

During the revelation, the source claimed that the "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" actor was "very insecure about himself" before he dated Katherine. "He never felt 'good enough' for Anna Faris, and then when their relationship started to go downward, he was angry and not liking who he was," the source explained.

Chris and Anna, who share 7-year-old son Jack, were together for a decade and married for eight years before they split in 2017. In his statement about their broken marriage, the actor said, "We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed." He added, "We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."

On the same year he and his ex finalized their divorce, the "Passengers" actor began dating Katherine. The two tied the knot in June 2019 in Montecito, California. Since then, he often praised his 30-year-old wife publicly and hinted his desire to start a family with her.

Speaking about his current life, Chris said in an interview for the E! News show "In the Room" that it is "really nice." Crediting Katherine for changing his life "for the better in so many ways," he gushed, "My heart and my soul, my son, I feel are all so safe with her, you know?" He added, "She's, God willing, gonna be a great mum one day. She's got great parents, great siblings. She fills in all my many deficits."
