The British group Pale Waves are forced to call off their scheduled performance as an opening act for the 'Without Me' singer after they got into a car accident.

AceShowbiz - British pop stars Pale Waves had to scrap plans to support Halsey onstage in Berlin, Germany on Friday, February 28, 2020 after their tour bus was involved in a "serious accident."

The band was en route to the German capital on Thursday night when the incident occurred, and although few details have been released, the musicians reveal it was bad enough to force the group to sit out several upcoming shows on the "Closer" hitmaker's European tour, for which Pale Waves were serving as one of the opening acts.

"Last night we were involved in a serious bus accident on our way to the Berlin show," the four-piece posted on Twitter.

"We were really lucky and no-one has been seriously hurt, but we are not able to play the next few shows. We have loved playing these shows with Halsey and hope to be back on the tour really soon."

It's not clear how many dates will be affected, but in addition to the European gigs, Pale Waves are billed to join Halsey on her U.K. and Ireland trek, which kicks off next week, March 7, 2020.
