Sharia Washington pays homage to her sibling Kobe and his daughter Gianna Bryant, who perished together in a helicopter crash, with new body inks that include a black mamba snake.

AceShowbiz - Kobe Bryant's sister Sharia Washington has had a tribute to her late sibling and niece Gianna, who were killed in a helicopter crash last month, January 2020, inked on her shoulder.

Sharia took to Instagram to share a snap of her new etching, which features a black mamba snake curled around the numbers 2 and 24 - Kobe and 13-year-old Gianna's respective basketball jersey numbers.

Kobe was known as the "black mamba."

Sharia left the image captionless, other than a thank you to tattoo artists Peter Barrios, and turned off comments on the post.

Barrios also shared the same picture on his page, and added, "I didn't take my own photo out of respect but today I had the honor of tattooing a memorial tattoo on @shariawash. Thank you for laughing with me today and letting me do this for you. I will never forget our conversations. Much love and respect your family."

Sharia isn't the only person to have memorialised Kobe in tattoo form.

LeBron James, a close friend and former teammate of Kobe, and fellow Los Angeles Lakers player Anthony Davis both had huge black mamba tattoos inked on their thighs to remember their fallen friend.

Rappers 2 Chainz and The Game, and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. have also got tattoo tributes to Kobe inked.
