During an interview, the rapper admits that it isn't really appropriate for him to comment on Wade's parenting skills, though he adds saying that 'when I feel you're wrong, you're wrong.'

AceShowbiz - Lil Boosie (Boosie Badazz) received huge backlash after he misgendered Dwyane Wade's daughter Zaya. The rapper had addressed the criticism in a new interview with Baller Alert on Wednesday, February 26, in which he once again misgendered Zaya, who recently came out as transgender.
"You received backlash for statements about Dwyane Wade's daughter," the interviewer began the interview before Boosie interjected, "His son." He later explained his side, "That's just how I felt. People gotta understand that's how I feel."
The 37-year-old then revealed that his mom also blasted him for his controversial statements. "Even my momma got on my a** yesterday. My momma called me early in the morning and got on my a**, talking about, 'Stay off social media! That's they family! You stay out people's business ...' But I was just speaking how I felt. Everybody got their own opinions in life. Everyone feels a certain type of way about certain things ... When the kids involved, it's tender to my heart."
When asked if he ever thought about the repercussion of his statements, Boosie responded, "Once you're a celebrity, you gotta be ready for what comes with being a celebrity ... You gotta be ready for the hundred eyes and all that stuff." Boosie then admitted that it wasn't really appropriate for him to comment on Wade's parenting skills. However, he added, "But when I feel you're wrong, you're wrong. People have told me how to parent my children when I was wrong .."
Talking about him getting banned from a Planet Fitness location because he called out the manager of the manager of the gym for being gay, Boosie said, "I feel like they're ganging up on me now. I should've shut my a** up. Everything happens for a reason. A lot of people feel what I said, completely. I got a lot of bad backlash, but I got a lot of people who feel the same way."
During the interview, Boosie said that while he didn't know Wade on personal level, he was a fan of his basketball career. "It's probably a tender situation to him, so he probably don't wanna get into contact with me," he said, alluding that it was unlikely for them to have sit-down to discuss the matter. "But I said what I said. I don't hold my tongue for nobody. If that was Barack Obama, I would've said the same thing. I'm built like that."
"It don't get to me because I live a real life ... The only way you can get to somebody like me is [if] it break your hustle. As long as I can hustle and stay free, none of that s**t is gonna get to me. Comments are made to be blocked ... I get money regardless," unbothered Boosie concluded.
