The 'Anyone' songstress proudly flaunts her bare face in a new Instagram photo as she highlights the importance of showing herself underneath 'tons of makeup and hair pieces.'

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato is embracing her true self. On Monday, February 24, the "Skyscraper" hitmaker turned to her Instagram to share a close look at her bare face and freckled complexion as she uploaded a brand new #NoMakeUpMonday selfie.

In the close up photo, the "Anyone" singer tied her dark hair in a bun and let her natural beauty shone. "Haven't done a #NoMakeupMonday in yearssss but I figured after posting so many glamorous pics with tons of makeup and hair pieces, it's important to show myself underneath it all," she captioned the post.

"This is what I look like 85%-90% of the time," the former Disney sweetheart continued on before sharing a message of self-love. "Proud of my freckles, proud of booty chin and proud of myself for loving and accepting myself the way I am. #ILoveMe."

Demi's empowering post quickly gained the attention of Fifth Harmony member Normani, "American Horror Story" actress Sarah Paulson, UFC athlete Michelle Waterson and model Ashley Graham. All four praised her for her beauty. "This is Us" star Chrissy Metz, in the meantime, exclaimed, "Stunnnnerrr." Fellow ex-Disney darling Vanessa Hudgens simply gushed, "Love that babe."

The "Give Your Heart a Break" songstress has recently opened up about her battle to accept herself. In an appearance on Ashley's "Pretty Big Deal" podcast, she confided, "I'm tired of running myself into the ground with workouts and extreme dieting. I thought the past few years was recovery from an eating disorder when it actually was just completely falling into it."

"I think when you have certain people around you that are telling you... that you should look a certain way, it makes it harder. I was in that situation, and I was just running myself into the ground. I honestly think that's kind of what led to everything happening over the past year - me thinking I found recovery when I didn't, and then living this kind of lie and trying to tell the world I was happy with myself when I really wasn't."
