The veteran character actress suffered a heart attack last week at her home in Santa Monica, California and passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020, according to TMZ.

Scott appeared in over 70 films and TV shows, including "Boyz n the Hood", "Birth of a Nation", "Encino Man", "Beverly Hills, 90210", "ER", and "Melrose Place", and she also provided the voice for Shodu in the "Star Wars" spin-off "Ewoks".
