Days after he welcomed his fourth child with wife Ayda Field, the 'Rock DJ' hitmaker is announced as smoothfm's new ambassador for its new marketing campaign.

AceShowbiz - Robbie Williams is the new face of Australia's smoothfm radio station.

The 46-year-old will replace Michael Buble in the station's new marketing campaign, which aims to "reflect the station's timeless and contemporary playlist."

The British singer follows in the footsteps of Spandau Ballet and Sam Smith, who have also served as ambassadors, with Paul Jackson, with smoothfm's parent company NOVA's Chief Programming and Marketing Officer, gushing over the former Take That star's appointment in a statement.

"Robbie is a charming, cheeky artist who has evolved over his career, and his music remains timeless making him the perfect choice for smoothfm in 2020," he said.

The news comes after the "Angels" hitmaker welcomed his fourth child son Beau, with Robbie revealing the big news on Valentine's Day, February 14, sharing a snap of his baby son's feet alongside those of his three other kids on Instagram.

He and wife Ayda Field also share 17-month-old Colette Josephine, aka Coco, Teddy, seven, and son Charlton, five.
