The Harley Quinn of DC Extended Universe is mourning her grandfather Herbert Kessler who passed away at the age of 96 in her native country of Australia.

AceShowbiz - Margot Robbie's grandfather Herbert Kessler has died aged 96.
According to reports, Kessler - the father of Margot's mother Sarie - died peacefully at his home on the Gold Coast in the actress' native Australia on February 1, 2020 while she was in London promoting her new movie "Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn".
A funeral for Hessler, who was affectionately called "Grandy" by his grandchildren, was held in Dalby, Queensland, on Friday, February 14, 2020. However, it's unclear whether or not Margot, who was seen filming the "Suicide Squad" sequel in Panama City, Florida, the day before, was able to attend.
Kessler, a former dentist, passed away almost a year after his wife Verna, who died in April last year. Since her death, he'd been living in a retirement home.
Margot spoke about the influence Kessler had on her life during an interview with Vogue in 2019, reflecting on a dinner party held by her grandparents when he scolded his family for gossiping about someone.
"They were talking about someone and gossiping about someone," she said. "And Grandy said, 'well, he's not here to defend himself right now, so let's talk about something else.' "
"I want to be that type of person who hears people gossiping and says 'let's talk about something else.' "
