The 'Good Place' actress is accused of faking her coming out as queer to distract attention from the backlash over her upcoming judging gig on vogueing show.

AceShowbiz - British actress Jameela Jamil has furiously slammed online trolls for alleging she has the psychological disorder Munchausen's syndrome.

"The Good Place" star, who came out as queer last week, has faced viral online accusations she's suffering from Munchausen's, which causes people to invent various ailments in a bid for attention.

One Instagram post cited articles on her admissions of past health problems, including car accidents, congenital hearing loss and labyrinthitis, hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and coeliac disease, as evidence she had the disorder - prompting a furious response.

"First I'm lying about my sexuality, now I'm now being accused of munchausens?" she tweeted, referencing the controversy over her coming out statement. "By an unhinged idiot who didn't even realise in all her "research" that my car accident injury stories are "different" because they were about TWO SEPARATE CAR ACCIDENTS 13 years apart? You can keep it."

Slamming the doubters, Jameela went on to add, "Ehlers Danlos Syndrome means always having people doubt your illness and injuries because you look okay. #edsawareness #itisntinyourhead #imsorrypeopleared**ks."

Jameela revealed she had Ehlers-Danlos, which causes hypermobility and loose and painful joints, last year, as part of her body positivity activism. She has, however, faced criticism for announcing she is "queer" after being taken to task for judging at TV vogueing competition, as well as her regular online interventions on issues of social justice.

Taking on her critics, she continued, "Man, if as many people spent their time and energy helping others/fighting injustice as they do dragging and slandering people on the internet the world would be in such good shape."
