The 'Desperado' actress is forced to ditch the star-studded post-Academy Awards party due to emergency situation that led her to rush to the Cedars-Sinai.

AceShowbiz - Salma Hayek spent Oscars night in a hospital emergency room.

The actress' manager and friend, Evelyn O'Neill, suffered an injury at the Academy Awards and had to race to the hospital from the prizegiving, accompanied by the Mexican star, who was a presenter at the big show.

Hayek has shared photos of herself and her friend in the hospital, adding the caption, "As the parties were just getting started my date, friend, and manager, Evelyn O'Neill had a little accident."

"I had to rush her to the ER where we spent the rest of the Oscar night until the sun came up. Thank you to the doctors and the staff of Cedars-Sinai for your professionalism and kindness. And Evelyn, I've never seen anyone take so much pain with so much grace! You are a champ."
