The 'Got Me' singer sticks on her opinion in which she accuses the two TV personalities of always picking out black males, saying that her apology was towards people she hurt with her words.

AceShowbiz - Ari Lennox is not apologizing for calling out Gayle King and Oprah Winfrey despite her recent statement. The singer recently posted on her Tumblr page a lengthy apology after bashing the "CBS This Morning" co-host and her BFF, but has now claimed that the apology wasn't addressed to the two TV personality.

"My apology was towards people I genuinely hurt and traumatized. My apology was for how I worded everything and how I disrespected people in trying to get my opinion across," she wrote on Twitter on Monday, February 10. Making it clear that she doesn't change her opinion on Gayle and Oprah, the 28-year-old added, "But my opinion will always remain. I am not 'running away' I just rather not speak on anything anymore."

When a fellow Twitter user claimed that Ari wasn't really apologizing for what she said about Gayle and Oprah, she repeated her explanation, "No, weirdo. If an apology means to abandon my beliefs and assimilate to yours than what type of world would this be. I am apologetic for pain that I've caused but it does not change my passion and my inner beliefs."

Ari then announced that she would be staying off social media for a while as she's working in the studio, possibly making some new music. "Now I'm officially logging off. I said what I said. Shit is clear. We in the studio all week. Peace and love," she wrote in another post.

Ari previously blasted Gayle and Oprah following Gayle's controversial question about Kobe Bryant during an interview with WNBA superstar Lisa Leslie. Calling the media mogul and her friend "some self-hating, pieces of s**t f**ka**es," she accused the two ladies of always tearing down black men accused of sex crimes. "You want to spend the rest of your days tearing down Black people? Build us up, help us!" she ranted in a video posted on social media last week.

The R&B star later posted on her Tumblr page, "I am sorry. I was acting like an a**. Im sorry for being insensitive." Explaining herself, she continued, "I swear to god i be meaning well. I'm not the most structured when i start talking and that has been a blessing and curse. I've grown too comfortable with viewing my supporters as my bestie that I can freely vent to with no repercussions. I feel the need to protect people that I feel are genuinely good people."

"I see what's being said and I feel the pain of those I genuinely I hurt and I'm sorry," she acknowledged her mistake. "I'm sorry for triggering people and I'm sorry if I caused any trauma. Im sorry for victim shaming, swear that wasn't my intent."

She additionally said that she would "stay offline," because "it's so mentally draining trying to do good and it comes out completely detrimental."
