The former 'American Idol' judge insists she didn't mistake the Pussycat Dolls singer for the 'Hips Don't Lie' hitmaker after her Super Bowl post went viral.

AceShowbiz - Paula Abdul has hit back at claims she mistook her former "The X Factor USA" co-judge Nicole Scherzinger for Shakira in a snap shared online ahead of Sunday's February 2, 2020 Super Bowl.

The "Straight Up" singer took to Twitter to share her excitement about the Super Bowl, which saw Demi Lovato perform the National Anthem and Jennifer Lopez and Shakira team up for the Halftime Show.

"Can't wait to watch these amazing women perform at the #SuperBowl‼️ #DemiLovato @JLo @shakira xoP," Paula wrote, alongside pictures of herself with Jennifer and Demi.

However, instead of sharing a snap of herself with Shakira, Paula accidentally posted a picture alongside Nicole, with The Pussycat Dolls star responding, "I mean, my hips don't lie… but I'm not @shakira babes."

After the tweet went viral, Paula returned to the platform to insist the move was intentional, as she replied to the "Buttons "hitmaker, "@NicoleScherzy I wanted to include this photo to commemorate this great football memory! Not to mistake you for Shakira."

She added, "Nicole, even as a masked singer I couldn't mistake you. As if we don't go way back! xoP."
