The 'Precious' actress lashes out at the Harpo Productions CEO for her involvement in a Russell Simmons documentary while she has allegedly defended Harvey Weinstein.

AceShowbiz - Mo'Nique has reignited her feud with Oprah Winfrey. The 52-year-old actress posted on her Instagram page on Monday, February 3 a lengthy letter to the former daytime talk show queen to condemn her alleged unfair treatment to those accused of sexual assault like Michael Jackson, Harvey Weinstein and Russell Simmons.

The "Bessie" star accused Oprah of "disparity in the way that you seem to treat people, who were accused of" sexual misconducts. She claimed that while the media mogul was going to be a part of documentaries about MJ's and Russell's alleged sexual misconducts, Oprah once spoke up seemingly to defend Harvey.

"You did an interview on the CBS Morning Show and were asked about Harvey Weinstein by Norah O'Donnell, and you said as it pertained to him that you 'always try to look at the Rainbow in the clouds, whatever is the 'silver lining'.' You also said 'if we make this all about Harvey Weinstein then we have lost the moment'," Mo'Nique pointed out. "When you either are, or were going to be a part of documentary on Michael Jackson, and Russell Simmons, how is that not making it all about them?"

She continued, "Interestingly, Brother M.J. was acquitted, and deceased, so how is he not off limits? Russell and Harvey are accused of the same thing so in fairness how do you not 'support' the accusers of both as you said you did with R.S. or you look for the silver lining for both like you said you did for H.W.?"

Mo'Nique went on suggesting that Oprah is taking side based on skin color. "The only difference between the two is there skin color and doesn't H.W. have way more accusers?" she remarked.

The Grammy Award-nominated star, who stars alongside Oprah in Lee Daniels' 2009 film "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire", also brought up her past personal issue with the 66-year-old TV producer. She claimed that Oprah and Tyler Perry didn't stand up for her when she was wrongly accused of "being difficult" for not promoting their movie internationally.

She detailed, "My personal experience with you is you've watched me as a black women be accused of being difficult for not promoting 'Precious' internationally for Lions Gate, at Lions Gate, Tyler Perry and your request, despite the fact my deal was with Lee Daniels Entertainment. And, how are you for black women when you hear Tyler on audio saying I was right and he was going to speak up but you or him still haven't said a word?"

Noting that she used to look up to Oprah, Mo'Nique added, "My sixteen year old self didn't know that you in your silence in the face of wrongdoing, would make my life 'harder'. Lastly, please consider standing by the people who are right and not just the 'right people'." She then signed it off with "Love you to life, Mo'Nique."

Back in 2017, Mo'Nique also called out Oprah for having her brother, who sexually assaulted her, on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" with her parents. "I shared with Oprah Winfrey that me and my mother were not on good terms," said the comedian. "Had Oprah said to me, 'I have your mother.' I would have shut that s**t down. Because I don't want the world seeing my mother, being so greedy over money, that she's willing to do anything to go on your show."
