Responding to the controversy surrounding their friendship, the 18-year-old Grammy winner thinks that 'there are so many people that the Internet should be more worried about.'

AceShowbiz - Billie Eilish has spoken out after stirring controversy over revelation that she and Drake have been texting each other. People were quick to come after the Canadian superstar at the time, calling him all kind of names, and the Grammy-winning songstress made it clear that she would not let any Drake slander in sight.

Defending her relationship with Drake in an interview with Vogue, she told the publication, "The internet is such a stupid-a** mess right now. Everybody's so sensitive. A grown man can't be a fan of an artist?" Billie then went on to say that she thinks that "there are so many people that the Internet should be more worried about."

Finding how weird it is to see people who support Donald Trump hating on Drake, she added, "Like, you're really going to say Drake is creepy because he's a fan of mine, and then you're going to go vote for Trump? What the f**k is that s**t?"

Meanwhile, Drake is still remaining mum.

Last year during her interview with Vanity Fair, Billie heaped praises for Drake, whom she called "the nicest dude I've ever spoken to," and gave some insight into their friendship. "I mean, I've only, like, texted him, but he's so nice. Like, he does not need to be nice, you know what I mean?" she said at the time. "He's at a level in his life where he doesn't need to be nice, but he is, you know?"

The revelation led a lot of people to criticize Drake for continuously texting teenage girls. For those who need a reminder, the "Hotline Bling" rapper was once accused of grooming Millie Bobby Brown after the actress revealed that he gave her nice dating advice. But just like Billie, the "Stranger Things" star also came to his defense.
