Kenneth Carey has filed a lawsuit against the 'Suge' hitmaker, his entertainment company and members of his entourage for jumping him, stealing his money and skipping on agreed event.

AceShowbiz - DaBaby is being sued by the concert promoter he allegedly assaulted in Miami, Florida earlier this month (January 2020).

Concert promoter Kenneth Carey vowed to sue the star after he was taken into custody earlier this month when members of the musician's entourage were allegedly caught on camera jumping him and stealing his money.

And he's stuck to his word, as TMZ reports he has filed a lawsuit against the Suge hitmaker, his entertainment company and members of his entourage that were present for the attack, alleging the rapper not only illegally battered him but also turned his back on a deal they'd struck to host an event.

In legal papers, he claims DaBaby agreed to host a party where another artist, Stunna 4 Vegas, had been booked to perform. Carey says he and the rapper agreed on a rate of $20,000, and he arranged hotels and cars for them via a rental company - with one of the vehicles also reportedly returned damaged.

He alleges the problems continued when the star requested the fee be increased to $30,000, with the extra funds reportedly covering the damage to the car, which got billed to DaBaby and his team.

However, Carey refused, and claims four of DaBaby's associates pulled his pants down, beat him up and poured apple juice all over him, and that they stole his phone, money and credit card that he had on hand.

They also reportedly skipped the event, according to the suit filed by Jonathan May of The Lions' Den law firm in Miami.

DaBaby, who was charged with battery, was released from jail in Miami after posting $1,500 bail.
