Boosie Badazz Dodges Jail Time With Plea Deal in Drug Possession Case

Papers from the Coweta County District Attorney's Office uncover that the Wipe Me Down rapper has got two of his charges dropped after pleading guilty to misdemeanour possession of marijuana.

AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) has avoided jail time after being charged with drug possession last year (19).

The rapper was pulled over by cops last April for swerving lanes and almost hitting another car. During the stop, officers found marijuana, a gun and more than $20,000 (£15,275) in cash.

However, the "Wipe Me Down" star pled guilty to misdemeanour possession of marijuana and, in exchange, prosecutors dropped charges of possession of a controlled substance and failure to maintain lane, according to papers from the Coweta County District Attorney's Office, obtained by TMZ.

The judge has already signed off on the deal, sentencing the hitmaker, real name Torrence Hatch, Jr., to six months probation and a $1,000 (£757.52) fine.

He'd previously served five years in Louisiana for drug charges, and could have been hit with a year in a Georgia jail if convicted on all charges. He wasn't booked for the gun, suggesting he had a license.
