However, the 'New Rules' hitmaker's fanbase quickly jumps into the singer's defense, while one fan blasts the cancel culture, saying, 'toxic this cancel culture is getting.'

AceShowbiz - Dua Lipa only wanted to have fun and going to Lizzo's Grammys after-party is one of her ways to have some fun. The "Don't Start Now" singer previously shared on Instagram Stories a video of them enjoying the night at the strip club.

The clip featured dua, the "Juicy" songstress and Rosalia and more celebrities making it rain as strippers dance in front of them. While they were seen having blast at the bash on Sunday, January 26, some fans on Twitter apparently didn't take the video well.

"What a good example dua lipa, lizzo, rosalia sexualizing women but well afterwards they say they are feminists," one upset fan wrote on the micro-blogging site. It didn't take long before #DuaLipaIsOverParty to begin trending on the blue bird app.

However, the "New Rules" hitmaker's fanbase quickly jumped into her defense. "y'all tryna cancel her for,,,,going to a strip club ?? why is it completely okay and normal for men to do it but now that a woman (female) does it it's a problem,,,,,y'all and y'all double standards kinda gross," one supportive fan questioned the hashtag.

"Wait so Women aren't allowed to go to strip clubs now? Istg y'all don't even know how toxic this cancel culture is getting," one other added. Y'all got nerve to cancel Dua Lipa for going to a strip club mean while there are men in the same industry that do this on a daily basis."

"So y'all mad because Dua Lipa, a whole grown woman, was turning up with her friends / peers at a strip club? Y'all mad because sis was helping some strippers make bank that night? And then y'all wonder why we say society is soft today #dualipaisoverparty," another comment read.

One person also found it funny that Dua was the only one getting backlash when there were other high-profile stars in attendance. "The fact that soooo many people are cancelling Dua for going to a strip club....is hilarious. Why don't you do the same for the other artists that do the exact same thing. #dualipaisoverparty," tweeted the fan.

Dua has yet to react on social media. However, the Grammy-winning musician once blasted social media in an interview with the BBC. "Social media can be such an amazing tool, and it can be so fun to share things but at the same time it’s almost like a breeding ground for hate and anxiety," she said at the time.
