Speculations about his sexuality sparked after a high school teammate and friend of Aaron, claimed in 'Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez' that the two engaged in a sexual relationship while in high school.

AceShowbiz - Late Aaron Hernandez's fiancee Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez has broken her silence on rumors about his sexuality. In a new interview, which marks her first following Netflix's docuseries "Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez", Shayanna showed nothing but love to the late football athlete.

"If he did feel that way, or if he felt the urge, I wish that I was told," she said through tears in a sneak peek of her interview on "Good Morning America". "I wish he would have told me because I would not have loved him any differently. I would have understood."

Shayanna went on saying she would accept the former New England Patriots tight end not because he was her fiance or because he was the father of their seven-year-old daughter, Avielle Janelle Jenkins-Hernandez. "Yes, of course, it would've been hard to watch somebody walk away or to live a different life. But [bisexuality is] not shameful and I don't think anybody should feel shameful on who they are inside, regardless of who they love," Shayanna continued. "I think it's a beautiful thing. I just wish I was able to tell him that."

Speculations about Aaron's sexuality sparked after Dennis Sansoucie, a high school teammate and friend of Aaron, claimed in "Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez" that the two engaged in a sexual relationship while in high school. Of Dennis, Shayanna said that she knew of Sansoucie, but doesn't know him well. She added that he wasn't very involved in Hernandez's adult life.

"You start to feel for people that may be hiding inside how they really feel. And I-- I feel awful for that," she continued. She went on sharing that Aaron, who committed suicide in his prison cell in May 2017, was "certainly a man to me. There was no behavior that made me think differently."

Aaron was found guilty of murder in April 2015 for the killing of Odin Lloyd, the 27-year-old fiance of Jenkins-Hernandez' sister and was handed a life sentence in prison. Additionally, Aaron had even been indicted on murder charges in 2014 for the double homicide of immigrants Daniel Jorge Correia de Abreu and Safiro Teixeira Furtado, but was later found not guilty of their deaths.
