The 17-year-old Harvard University freshman recently shared on Instagram a video of herself attempting to do a sexy dance to celebrate reaching 600,000 followers.

AceShowbiz - It looks like Aoki Lee Simmons might need to think twice before posting on Instagram after this. The 17-year-old recently celebrated reaching 600,000 followers on Instagram with a rather sexy video, only to find herself getting scolded by her mother Kimora Lee Simmons.

In the Monday, January 27 post, Aoki could be seen attempting to do a sexy dance in her room to celebrate the milestone. "This is how I feel about 600k!!" she wrote in the caption. "Thank you guys so much for supporting my work, my causes and my cringey af TikToks. You guys mean the world. Your support encourages me to a higher standard. I hope I can continue to inspire and uplift you all, as you inspire me."

Many people were loving the video and showering her with praises, but Kimora felt otherwise. Taking to the comment section of her post, the designer said, "Get you a** to class AOKI!!!!!!" The comment was later removed from the post, though. It's unclear whether Kimora did it herself or it was Aoki's doing.

Born on August 16, 2002, Aoki is Kimora's daughter with ex-husband Russell Simmons. The Harvard University student has one sister, Ming Lee, and two brothers Kenzo and Wolfe. Recently, her family welcomed a new addition as Kimora and her husband Tim Leissner adopted a 10-year-old boy named Gary.

"He joins the family as Kimora's two daughters have gone off to college," her rep said in a statement to Us Weekly. "Ming Lee Simmons is a sophomore at NYU, and the next youngest (daughter Aoki Lee Simmons) is a freshman at Harvard. Both have started their college careers and join Kimora as the faces and creative vision behind their newly relaunched family business, Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons. Kimora now has all boys at home. Gary joins sons Kenzo Lee Hounsou and Wolfe Lee Leissner."
