The headliner of the kid's show "Pee-wee's Playhouse" was arrested back in 1991 for masturbating in an adult movie theater.
The scandal cost him his product as it was being banished in addition to his show being pulled out by CBS. Bill Cosby, however, defended Pee Wee, saying that "whatever (Reubens has) done, this is being blown all out of proportion" while Cyndi Lauper blasted the charge as a "victimless occurrence." Pee Wee pleaded no contest to an indecent exposure charge.
