The former 'Glee' actress is taking precautions amid the coronavirus breakout that has since killed numerous people in China and spread to the United States.

AceShowbiz - Kristin Chenoweth is doing everything she can to avoid a run-in with the deadly coronavirus.

The illness, which attacks cells in the respiratory system, started in Wuhan, China, with cases now appearing in the U.S. and U.K. As health organisations put plans in place against the virus, actress Kristin Chenoweth is taking matters into her own hands to stay safe while travelling.

Speaking to TMZ at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday, January 23, 2020, the "Pushing Daisies" star revealed she came prepared for the worst, showing off a protective face mask and offering one to the person behind the camera.

"I'm scared, because I've been so sick," the Broadway icon confessed. "I can't get sick."

The Emmy and Tony award winner, who was on her way to Key West, Florida for a singing gig on Saturday, confessed she thinks that masks could become commonplace in the U.S. amid the breakout.

In China, 25 people are confirmed to have died from complications pertaining to the virus, with over 800 confirmed cases at the time of WENN going to press.
