The former Pittsburgh Steelers player has turned himself in at a Florida jail after police issued an arrest warrant for him for allegedly assaulting a truck driver earlier this week.

AceShowbiz - Antonio Brown has turned himself in to police, a day after a warrant was issued for his arrest for his alleged involvement in a battery case. The 31-year-old wide receiver arrived at a Florida jail on Thursday, January 23.

The former NFL star, accompanied by lawyers and friends, arrived in a turquoise suit at about 10 P.M. ET. He didn't respond to WFOR-TV's request for on-camera comment, but his lawyer Eric Schwartzreich indicated that the athlete would spend the night in jail in Fort Lauderdale.

Antonio is facing charges of felony burglary with battery, burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and criminal mischief stemming from a Tuesday incident outside his home in which he allegedly assaulted a moving truck driver. His lawyer said, "He's innocent of these charges. Hopefully we'll get bond tomorrow and he'll be acquitted of all charges."

The incident reportedly stemmed from Antonio's refusal to pay a bill for moving costs. When the driver demanded his $4,000 payment, the former Pittsburgh Steelers player reportedly threw a rock at the truck.

Later, Antonio allegedly forced his way into the driver's side of the main cabin and began to physically strike him. Antonio's trainer Glenn Holt reportedly grabbed the keys from the ignition and opened the side of the truck so Antonio could unload his belongings.

Glenn was arrested on Tuesday, while Antonio reportedly locked himself up in his house and police were not able to contact him at the time. Glenn has been charged with burglary with battery. He was released Wednesday after posting a $20,000 bond.

Antonio is expected to be held in custody until a hearing for his bond, which is scheduled to take place on Friday morning, January 24.

Antonio has not directly addressed the incident, but his ex and baby mama Chelsie Kryiss has expressed her concern about his mental health. In a January 22 Instagram post, she wrote, "Unfortunately, it seems Antonio has made questionable choices and continues to ignore the advice of those who love and support him." She added, "My hope is that Anotonio will get help and seek the mental health treatment that he so desperately needs so that he can be the father all of his children need and deserve."
