AceShowbiz - A video of Julianne Hough receiving bizarre physical therapy treatment has gone viral and Internet users surely have a lot to say about it. In the clip, Dr. John Amaral demonstrated to audience at Davos World Economic Forum in Switzerland how to release waves of stored emotion through movement.
The doctor explained the energy treatment in the video, "There's always a huge dissipation of energy and the feeling of relief, release, freedom. Expression of emotion may happen when the system moves." He added, "When energy was stored and bound up in the muscles, it gets to dissipate, and if we're really free to express and allow energy that's been bound in our bodies to move through - his woman is like, an incredible dancer, actress, just, human being, and she has practiced just allowing things to move through."
As the holistic health guru touched her neck and gently moved his hand down her back, the professional dancer who was lying face down began to contort and let out a loud scream. While it was explained as the way someone's body released the negative energy inside of her, many were left baffled by the therapy session.
Jackie Schimmel Haas, host of the "B***h Bible" podcast, who posted the clip on her Instagram page, captioned it, "Gonna tell my kids this is 'The Exorcist'... (Policy Guidline Disclaimer: I aspire to such flexibility and mind body connection and hope to have similar orgasmic experience at Kinrgy. Love and light.)"
Comedian Heather McMahan joked, "Upon viewing this video for the 45 time it is in fact a demon coming out of her butthole." Seemingly confused, hair colorist Justin Anderson wrote, "WHAT THE. THIS IS NOT REAL."
Another user claimed that the "live orgasm video they're calling energy healing is straight from Satan," while someone else commented, "I will not be discussing anything else today but that demonic video of Julianne Hough thank you for your understanding."
Noticing people's reaction, Julianne herself apparently noticed how bizarre her video was. She responded to Jackie's post, "I thought the same thing when I first saw it too!" Her brother Derek Hough admitted "this stuff looks whacky and crazy," but quickly defended his sister as adding, "but diving into it with the understanding of pure energy is a pretty wild experience. Maybe ahead of its time but worth an open mind."
The "Footloose" star said before the demonstration, "I feel so much more liberated on the inside that I can speak my truth clearly, stand in my power and not feel overtaken by emotion, my mind, and I feel free inside myself to just be. Our body is our vessel to hold our energy, and that is the most prominent thing that we can take care of."
