Apparently learning from his past relationship, the hip-hop mogul shares advice to other men about how to honor their ladies because 'everyone doesn’t get a second chance.'

AceShowbiz - P. Diddy reminded people to "cherish" their loved ones. More than a year after Kim Porter's passing, the hip-hop mogul shared some advice to other men about honoring the "special" women in their lives.

On early Wednesday morning, January 22, the "I'll Be Missing You" rapper turned to Instagram to pay tribute to the his late ex. "If you got a good woman please let her know," he wrote alongside a photo of Kim rocking an orange dress while smiling so brightly. "Tell her as soon as you can. Make sure she knows. Make sure she feels it."

The "Last Night" spitter went on to add, "HONOR HER. CHERISH HER. Cause the special ones are RARE and FEW. And everyone doesn't get a second chance. LET THE ONE YOU LOVE KNOW TODAY. RIGHT NOW!!!!" Diddy concluded his heartfelt message by declaring that he would "honor" Kim forever.

The MC, who recently legally changed his name to Sean Love Combs, first dated the Georgia native in 1994 before splitting in 1999. They got back together in 2003, only to break up for the last time in 2007. They share 21-year-old son Christian "King" Combs as well as 13-year-old twin daughters Jessie and D'Lila Combs.

Kim passed away tragically in November 2018 due to lobar pneumonia. Since then, Diddy often uses his social media account to honor the late model. Last November, he posted a photo of a broken heart emoji along with the caption that read, "KP." Later in December, he shared a black-and-white clip featuring their moments together in order to celebrate her birthday. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY @ladykp," he captioned the footage.

"Words can't explain how much we miss you but today is your birthday," the ex-boyfriend of Cassie continued. "We're celebrating you today! We love and we miss you!!!!!"

Diddy later opened up about how her death still left him devastated and resulted in his belated birthday bash. "I canceled the party two times because I just couldn't see myself partying for my 50th birthday without her," he told PEOPLE at the time.
