For the ceremony at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, the 'Strangers Things' star wears a winter white long-sleeved coat dress over tailored trousers.

AceShowbiz - Millie Bobby Brown's outfit choice at the annual 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards was not everyone's favorite. Instead of receiving praises, the "Stranger Things" star was met with backlash for wearing a dress that people deemed inappropriate during the event taking place on Sunday, January 19 at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

For the ceremony, Millie opted for elegant look in a winter white long-sleeved coat dress with a belt and asymmetrical hemline over tailored trousers. Her coat featured a plunging neckline that offered a glimpse of her cleavage, as she accessorized the look with matching jewelries and heels. The 15-year-old star additionally sported a smoky eye and dusty pink lip gloss and wore her hair sleek and straightened.

Millie was definitely confident when hitting the red carpet and posing along with her "Stranger Things" co-stars, but people were not so amused by her dress as they believe it's not fitting for her age. "Look like a 40 year old woman," one commented. "These stylist have Hollywood teens dressing older than stars in there 40s Why is she wearing a blazer dress and cigarette pants at 15??" another questioned, adding, "And no I don't think she should be dressed inappropriately but she's 15 and should have fun with her looks."

"Why does Millie Bobby Brown(15) look like she's 40 for the #SAGAwards," one other echoed the sentiment, with another ranting, "Is this a 13 going on 30 thing? It's weird how old millie bobby brown looks in this outfit and with this makeup. Be young! Look young!" Referring to the "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" star's controversial friendship with Drake, another quipped, "Drake about to act up." Someone blasted her, "Isn't she only 15? What the f**k she doing on the red carpet looking like a 32 yr old, twice divorced actress trying to stay in the public eye?"

Millie has yet to respond to the backlash.
