Accusing his ex-girlfriend of viciously assaulting him while he was asleep ,the 'Jersey Shore' star has through his lawyer filed a request for a restraining order.

AceShowbiz - "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been granted an emergency order of protection after accusing his ex-girlfriend Jen Harley of attacking him.

The reality star's lawyer claims Ortiz-Magro was "viciously" assaulted by Harley as he slept on Saturday, and he quickly filed a request for a restraining order.

The motion was reportedly approved in a Las Vegas court on Thursday (January 16), banning Harley from going anywhere near her ex until 25 February.

However, Harley's attorney, Lisa Bloom, insists the paperwork has not been presented to her client, who already had her own protective order against Ortiz-Magro.

"Contact that Ronnie Ortiz had with Jen Harley recently was in violation of the restraining order in effect against him," Bloom told People. "We have not received any restraining order against her, and if Jenn does get served with one, we will oppose it. Jen just wants to raise her baby in peace."

The former couple has a history of domestic disputes.

Ortiz-Margo was taken into custody in October (19) for allegedly hitting Harley and chasing her with a knife during a nasty altercation in Los Angeles, when he was accused of locking her and their baby daughter Ariana in their rental home. He dodged a felony kidnapping charge, but was slapped with a string of lesser counts, including domestic violence, brandishing a weapon, resisting arrest, criminal threats, and child endangerment.

He appeared in a Los Angeles court the following month (November 2019) and denied the allegations. Then in December, he accused Harley of abandoning their daughter, now 20 months old, in a post on his Instagram Story timeline.
