AceShowbiz - Celebrities aren't done showing off their best styles on red carpet just yet. Just a week after the 2020 Golden Globes, the A-list stars, including Zendaya Coleman and Nicole Kidman, poised to make a stylish entrance once again on the red carpet at the 2020 Critics' Choice Awards in Santa Monica, California on Sunday, January 12.
For the Taye Diggs-hosted event, Zendaya went all out and showed off her fit figure in a fuchsia Rom Ford breastplate with a matching skirt. The "Euphoria" actress styled her hair in trendy braids. Nicole, on the other hand, opted for a classic, elegant look in a black sleeveless gown created by Giorgio Armani and wore her blonde hair down.
Following her headline-making gown at the Golden Globes, Jennifer Lopez went for a simpler look this time around as she arrived in a bejeweled, backless cream gown at the Critics Choice Awards. Another star who stunned on the red carpet was Cynthia Erivo, who rocked a Fendi gown that featured a marble mosaic print, voluminous sleeves and a long train. As for Lupita Nyong'o, she was glowing in a halter-style dress with leather racerback and soft crepe-jersey skirt. A vintage polished-gold belt completed the elegant dress.
Meanwhile, some female celebrities opted to ditch skirt and went for pants instead. One of them was Mandy Moore, who made a sophisticated entrance in a strapless jumpsuit and matching cap and heels. On the other hand, Gwendoline Christie looked chic in an oversized suit that she paired with gray heels and natural makeup. Unlike Mandy and Gwendoline, Kelly Clarkson stepped out in a black dress with ruffle neckline and voluminous sleeves.
In the male department, most of them opted for classic suits, though Billy Porter opted to be different and caught attention in a pastel green Hogan McLaughlin gown paired with a silver choker. As if that wasn't enough, he covered himself in temporary butterflies tattoos.
The 2020 Critics' Choice Awards is currently underway.
